I had the opportunity to travel to Italy to photograph the artisans behind the serving boards produced at the Minelli factory. The experience took me to a charming small town, tucked away in a remote mountainous location, where the factory is nestled. I navigated through the high-tech production facility, quickly adapting to the fast-paced environment. It was an eye-opening day, learning about the intricate craftsmanship and precision that goes into creating each piece, all while capturing the beauty of the process in its raw form.
